- Upright Meaning – You are amidst the process of learning balance. Extremes have been calmed. It is a card of patience and kindness. You have a clear, long-term vision and your inner voice is guiding you. It is working harmony with others and having perfect synergy. It can also represent self-evaluation between the inner and outer self.
- Reversed Meaning – Something is out of balance. There is excess and conflict. It also may be suggesting that if you follow the same path, you will end up in an unbalanced state. - Key elements – A winged angel (actually a hermaphrodite from Hermes and Aphrodite) stands bringing a balance of genders. One foot on dry land (material world) and one in the water (the subconscious). They ‘tests the waters’ and also holds two cups (conscious and subconscious) in which they mix the water, one hot, one cold. The water actually appears to flow from the lower cup up into the upper cup, signifying the raising of vibration. It is about avoiding extremes through the teacher of truth, tolerance, and beauty from Sagittarius.

- Number 15 is a compound number with both 1 and 5 and a root number of 6. It is a number of harmony and balance or that or karma. but subdued because of the influence of 1 and 5. Number 6 also references the Lovers card, which also shows the same male and female characters often portrayed in the foreground.

- Upright Meaning – Hidden forces of negativity trick you into thinking you are trapped. It represents the inner force we all have, the shadow aspect of fears, addictions, or other impulses. - Reversed Meaning – When you are trapped in unhealthy or codependent relationships, addictions, materialism, or consumerism; this card may appear reversed. It will not be an easy journey and requires the decision to move forward. Interestingly it may also represent the buddhist form of detachment (non-attachment), which is an overcoming the desire of those things you most feel attached to, meant to bring a higher perspective. Upon closer look we see the chains are loose and they could easily escape. They wear tiny horns meaning they are becoming more and more like the Seidr. They are in a dark and ominous cave (representing the unconscious). The Lovers shows the ties to the material and sensual side of their nature and that the theme can be about either material or sensual aspects.

The Tower
- Number 16 is a compound number of both 1 and 6 and equals 7. It holds great change of faith a beliefs. 7 is a number to not be fully trusted as there is an aspect of something hidden.
- Aligns with Mars
- Upright Meaning – The tower brings a great deal of shaken, insecure times of turmoil and destruction. It shakes the foundations of what your believed or felt secure in. This can be a death, a break-up, a divorce, financial failure; affecting you physically, spiritually, and mentally. It is said you can revert to the Devil or move forward through to the Intuitive of the Star. It can also represent the inner or outer structures that you have built, perhaps social defenses that hide your true inner thoughts. It can also represent ego, deception, and illusion of the self.
- Reversed meaning – Reversed, this means you are delaying the necessary destruction that brings change and regeneration. Do not resist. It is shocking and hard to deal with, but in the end in will be for the better. Are you afraid of the discomfort or risk? - Number 17 represents a compound number of both 1 and 7 which equals 8. While 7 holds an aspect not to be trusted, the 1 is all about the perspective and idea associated with. Through combining both we come to 8, which is inner strength of will and power.

- Upright Meaning – Renewed hope and faith in life. Calm and loving energy and trust in the universe. Trusting the universe has something better and more positive, indicating new ideas and growth on the horizon. You can now forgive so you can embrace new opportunities. - Upright meaning – Success, radiance and abundance. Positive and radiant energy with follow bringing pure joy and happiness. This is the beautiful warm energy that gets you through tough times.
